Tennis Court Lighting Upgrade

Sydney Sports Lighting was engaged to upgrade the tennis court lighting at Hunterford Estate in Oatlands, restoring performance, safety, and reliability to a well-used residential facility. The project focused on replacing outdated, inefficient lighting with a modern solution aligned with the court’s original design intent.

Our team removed the existing 1,000-watt metal halide fittings, which had reached the end of their service life and no longer delivered consistent illumination. We then supplied and installed four new black asymmetrical slimline LED sports lights, delivering a high-performance lighting solution designed specifically for tennis court applications.

The new fittings were carefully selected and positioned to return the court to its original lighting design specifications, providing even coverage, improved visibility, and reduced glare for players. The asymmetrical design ensures light is directed precisely onto the playing surface, minimising spill beyond the court boundary.

The result is a clean, modern lighting upgrade that enhances night-time play, improves energy efficiency, and significantly reduces ongoing maintenance requirements—delivering a reliable, long-term solution for the Hunterford Estate community.
