Bareena Park Tennis Club – Full Court Lighting Upgrade & Solar Integration

Sydney Sports Lighting completed a transformative lighting upgrade at Bareena Park Tennis Club, delivering a fully compliant solution that meets all council requirements and Australian Standards. This long-awaited project revitalised the facility after nearly 20 years of planning, bringing modern, efficient and sustainable lighting to a much-loved community venue.

The project began with the preparation and submission of detailed lighting designs and technical specifications to ensure full regulatory compliance. Once approved, our team excavated all three courts to install new underground wiring, securely housed in heavy-duty conduit for long-term durability and safety.

We then installed custom footing cages and eight new black powder-coated poles, each fitted with high-performance, asymmetrical tennis court lights designed to deliver outstanding visibility, reduced glare and consistent illumination across every playing surface.

Beyond the lighting upgrade, Sydney Sports Lighting introduced a new automated booking system to streamline court management and enhance user experience. To support sustainable operations, we also installed a 15kW solar system paired with a 20kW battery, providing clean, reliable energy to power the courts each evening.

The result is a modern, compliant, and future-ready sports facility. The club and broader community are thrilled with the outcome, marking a major milestone in local recreational infrastructure and setting a new benchmark for community tennis lighting in the region.
